DRDO Chairman awarded UK
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) chairman G Satheesh Reddy was awarded honorary fellowship by Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) of United Kingdom (UK) during the Medals and Awards presentation ceremony in London. He is the first Indian recipient of the prestigious award in more than 100 years.
About G Satheesh Reddy:
Why was he awarded? Society’s highest award is bestowed in recognition of contributions of Reddy towards indigenous design, development and deployment of diversified missile systems, guided weapons, aerospace vehicles as well as avionics technologies in India over the past three decades.
His pioneering technological contributions has enabled the country to realise frontline military systems and world class missile technologies.

Lokpal Logo & Motto launched
The Chairman of Lokpal, Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose launched the logo of Lokpal in New Delhi. The motto of Lokpal “Do not be greedy for anyone’s wealth” was also adopted. The Logo was designed by Prashant Mishra, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Key facts:
The logo of Lokpal is based upon literal meaning of LOKPAL which means: LOK- meaning people and PAL- meaning caretaker, i.e. ‘caretaker of people’. The logo is in tricolor representing the national essence of LOKPAL and symbolizes how Lokpal protects and cares for people of India by establishing justice as per law.
It also symbolizes various essence of LOKPAL figuratively in shapes like- people (three human figures), ombudsman (judges bench), vigilance (Ashok chakra forming eye–pupil), judicial (the tricolor two hands are placed below forming a unique balance) and law (shape of book in orange).

Devendra Fadnavis created history by becoming the first chief minister in Maharashtra in nearly four decades to complete a full tenure of five years. The last time someone served this long, in one go, was Vasantrao Naik during the late 60s and early 70s.
But within 17 days of achieving this milestone, Devendra Fadnavis created another record today by becoming the chief minister with the shortest tenure in Maharashtra.
Devendra Fadnavis’ second stint as chief minister lasted only 80 hours.

Etawah Safari Park opened
Etawah Safari Park, formerly Etawah Lion Safari, officially Lion Breeding Center and Multiple Safari Park, Etawah, is a drive-through safari park in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the biggest safari parks in Asia with an area of 350 hectares (860 acres).
The Etawah Lion Safari was proposed in 2003 and got all approvals in 2006. Construction started in May 2012. The deer safari was inaugurated in 6 October 2016 and the remaining safaris as well as the park itself were inaugurated on 1 Jun 2018. The park opened to the public on 24 November 2019 without the lion segment.
