   This test is really useful to check my progress. Thank you tnpsc.academy team for this commendable initiative.
   But I have only one doubt… Is reading only Samacheer books enough for exam preparation ? Because in this Test 05 you have asked so many questions related to rivers, tributaries, ores etc. But that are not mentioned in the test 05 syllabus. Also you mentioned 11th std Industrial sector lesson for Economy. In that lesson there is nothing about Competition Act 2002. That’s why I’m asking. Please say what to study apart from Samacheer books. Thanks in advance.

  Hi,
  We welcome your query.

  In our Preparation Strategy, https://www.tnpsc.academy/tnpsc/tnpsc-group-2a-preparation/ we have given that some topics cannot be completed in Samacheer and we have referred Lucent Study Material (especially Geography & Polity). Those questions from Polity relate to that.

  Regarding Economics and others, We cannot be always sure that only questions from lessons or Syllabuses will be asked. There are some occasions (some questions), are being asked from out of portions too. To make our aspirants to be able to appear that unexpected types of questions we too are asking out of portions and difficult questions then and there. Competitive exams are based on competition and not based on passing. Hence, we do keep questions like that.

  Specifically for this exam, we made the Economy question at FIRST so that you have noted that. This is the reason we made it to be first questions. As much as our aspirants practice here Test Series, They will be able to answer any type of questions in the Exams.
