Since TNPSC announced Group 4 and VAO exams will be conducted under the single exam, the vacancies of TNPSC Group 4 & VAO 2017- 18 are more than what is mentioned in the TNPSC Annual Planner 2017-2018.

The Group 4 & VAO 2017-18 exam will be conducted on 11.02.2018 as per the date mentioned in official notification

Educational Qualification : SSLC

For VAO:

SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs,BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes.
Minimum Age Limit  : 21 years
Maximum Age limit :  40 Years

Others:

Minimum Age Limit  : 21 years
Maximum Age limit :  30 Years

For Other Posts(Junior Assistant(Non-Security), Junior Assistant(Security), Bill Collector-Grade I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist and Steno-Typist (Grade -III))

Minimum Age Limit  : 18 years (For all)
Maximum Age limit :  35 Years (SCs, SC(A)s, STs, Destitute Widows of all Castes)

Maximum Age limit : 32 (MBCs/DCs, BCs,BCMs) 

Maximum Age limit : 30 (Others)

Maximum Age limit : 35 years (For the persons who are trained in Survey in
ITI in Tamil Nadu, in respect of posts of Field
Surveyor and Draftsman only)

Others:

Minimum Age Limit  : 21 years
Maximum Age limit :  30 Years
